Hauppauge, NY – September 2014 – Eyewear industry leader ClearVision Optical introduces three new styles to its best selling DuraHinge™ collection this fall. Recognized for optimal strength and durability, DuraHinge now offers the first plastic model for the collection.
The latest release also introduces a new custom tooled hinge featuring the DuraHinge logo. This proprietary five-barrel hinge offers superior strength with the added flexibility of a spring hinge, yet it’s not too bulky or heavy on the face. Wider end pieces and temples provide additional durability.
New styles include:
DuraHinge 8: This full acetate, wayfarer inspired model brings a little more modern styling to the collection. Rich horn materials enhance this wearable, classic style. Available in Brown Horn and Black Horn.
DuraHinge 9: Big on style and strength, DuraHinge 9 offers a more modern look that’s perfect for all day wear. The metal combo frame features a very thin metal brow and wire bottom for a clean, sleek look. Slightly transparent matte acetate temples are right on trend. Available in Gunmetal Matte and Brown Matte.
DuraHinge 10: Navigator of style: this full metal navigator offers a thin double bridge and bold end piece. The thinner, subtly shaped temples offer a brushed matte finish. Available in Gold Antique and Gunmetal Matte.
